Who Am I
Trio Kena is a band formed out of the friendship of three musicians who share a deep musical connection and strong artistic chemistry, performing together as if they were one spirit. In their performances, they present songs and instrumental pieces across a variety of genres, including jazz, rock, and rare, lesser-known Eastern classics that move beyond the familiar and overplayed repertoire.
They alternate between instruments depending on the performance and its needs: George Ghattas plays drums, buzuq, and guitar, and also sings; Mohammad Al-Qattati plays the accordion and piano and occasionally sings; and Joseph Daqmaq plays the saxophone and piano.
The band performs at both formal and informal events.
