Mahmoud Darwish Museum

Mahmoud Darwish Museum is a cultural project established by the Municipality of Ramallah in collaboration with the Mahmoud Darwish Foundation to honor the legacy of the Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish.

Located in the city of Ramallah, the museum serves as a prominent cultural center and is set within a public garden spanning approximately 9,000 square meters, situated atop a hill overlooking Jerusalem.

Garden features: The garden includes the poet’s mausoleum, a memorial museum, a multi-purpose hall, an open-air theater, landscaped recreational areas, and water features.

Museum building: The museum is dedicated to showcasing selected manuscripts and personal belongings of the late poet. It also houses a video exhibition hall and a library containing his literary works and poetry collections, in addition to a curated selection of books on literature.
